Welcome to PGMA Sunday School!
 Children are our most important asset. Future of Islam in this country is directly dependent on how much effort we expend today on our children's Islamic and intellectual growth. The Prince George's Muslim Association (PGMA) is dedicated to the development of our next generation, they are our future, and will fill the masajid when we are gone. The goal of the Sunday school, currently reaching more than 160 children each week, is to give the basic Islamic education and manners to our children, and guide them to learn more by themselves.
Please check the School Handbook (booklet print-version) and the Overview Presentation for more details about the school educational system. You will find important information for both parents and students.
Our mission is to help students:
- memorize and recite Qur'an,
- read Arabic, and
- understand the Basics of Islam
Simply, we are building the character of a Muslim as revealed by Qur’an and Sunnah.
School In Numbers:
- About 160 students (4 to 15 years-old)
- 2 KG levels, 6 Elementary levels, and 1 advanced level
- 12 to 15 teachers and 8 to 10 class rooms
- 3 regular subjects: Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Studies
- 3.5 hours every Sunday
- 12 weeks in Fall and Spring and 9 weeks in Summer

| Januray 18 - Sprint 2009 Semester - Wednesday, December 17, 2008Sunday School Sprint 2009 Semester will start on January 18, 2009. Registration has already started. Saturday January 17, 2009 is the last day for registration withount late registration fee.

| Spring 2009 Registration - Tuesday, November 18, 2008Spring 2009 Registration will start on Saturday November 22, 2008 at 10:00 am. All parents are advised to register early in order to reserve space for their children as some of the classed fill up quickly.

| Sunday School on Saturday Nov 22, 08 . . . . . - Sunday, November 16, 2008On Saturday November 22, 2008, Sunday School will make up one day we took off last Ramadan. On that day, please bring your child(ren) to school assembly at 9:45 am. Classes will start at 10:00 am and dismiss at 12:30 pm; the time for Zuhr prayer. The following day, Sunday November 23, will be normal day that starts with assembly at 10:00 am.

| Volunteer needed for Front Office - Monday, September 10, 2007PGMA Sunday School is looking for a volunteer to handle front office operations every Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Some computer knowledge is required.
Volunteer get training on how to use PGMA school registration system.
